Last February, we spent one week in “The Flying Dutchman”, courtesy upgrade from “Award Winning”. Beautiful, privately located house with freebee exercise (running up and down the stairs), views to a stunning canal and multitude of good restaurants within stone throw away. As if we needed to be mollified some more for the apartment switch, we were treated to a bottle of champagne, free cell phone, and in the end, my son’s backpack accidentally left behind was shipped to the States! Thank you for truly superb service that placed Amsterdam in the center of out touristy hearts. Canal Apartments, you are the best!

The Nostalgic - What a wonderful apartment on a delightful street. There is a bread shop, wine shop, cheese shop, fruit and veggie shop, a coffeeshop right on our street and a Albert Heinz grocery store around the block. The private terrace off of the dining room was such a quiet pleasure. The apartment was equiped with anything you might need. Ab was there to meet us, show us around and answered all of our questions. After the first day we never said, "Let's go back to the apartment." We found ourselves saying, "Let's get back home." That is a great compliment to Ab and Michelle because the Nostalgic felt like home. We will go back to Amsterdam in a couple of years and hope to stay at the Nostalgic again

We stayed at your Rubens property the last week in November, it was a wonderful experience (except for the rain). All went well with the trip, we were picked up at the airport on time as promised by a driver who also had the keys to the apartment, the property was clean, extremely comfortable and centrally located. We would recommend your service to anyone who is planning to visit Amsterdam, I will definitely be utilizing your services again next November when I visit Amsterdam again.

Went to Amsterdam over the christmas and new years 2006 holiday with twenty friends. Rented the Van Gogh, the Rembrandt, Ruebens, and Vermeer. All in great locations, we had a place to stop in three diferent areas . trying to come back this year would like to stay in Van Gogh again

The Nostalgic is a wonderful 3 bedroom apartment, in a fabulous area near the Jordaan, and close to everything. We had such a nice time. Michelle was great and met us right as we got there. She also provided helpful information on shopping, etc. There is a full service grocery store right off Prinsegraat on the other side one block down. Right across from that was a very nice toy store if you had kids.

The apartment had a wonderful loft with two beds that my children who are 6 & 9 just loved. It was their own little place. The washer and dryer made it really convenient as we did not have to bring as much clothing. The wine, cheese and bakery shops were right across the street and it was such fun watching the people go in and out with their dogs and bicycles waiting outside. It was a great experience only made better by the wonderful and comfortable accommodations. Buy the Museum Pass because it allows you lots of freedom to see all the highlights, like Rembrandts Huis and the "Night Watch" at the Rijksmuseum.

I have been to Amsterdam 3 times. The Reubens apartment unit was by far the nicest and coziest place that I have stayed at. I would definitely recommend this place to all travelers. Thanks Canal Apts.

Hey Duke... have to say we loved the apartment. We stayed at the Rembrandt last week. Everything from the taxi service to the apartment was top notch. I've been to A'dam 14 times. This is the first time I ever rented an apartment. And won't be the last.

Hello,I stayed at an apartmenst that was an upgrade from the red tulip,called the Breughel apt,right next to the Mondriaan apt.

It was perfect,lots of space,very quirky with beautiful frescos painted on the ceiling(17th century).Fantstic location,adorable shops accross the street,great pizza place,and an Albert Heijn around the corner.

Less than ten minute walk to the Dam,and a wonderful walk at that with beautiful views.Safe and secure location,very posh area,just next to the canal,with great views from the kitchen window.Sigh,it was magical.

Amsterdam is beautiful,and the amazing apartment just made it perfect.
I am definitely going back and have already reccomended it to friends.

We rented an apartment from them and were worried about the negative things on the trip advisor website. The apartment was as pictured, with almost everything you needed, with the exception of extra sheets. The main bed was fine, the second was a futon and not to comfortable for middle aged adults. The location was perfect for touring around and the area, right on a canal very pretty with lots of places to eat and a supermarket 4 bocks away. Our deposit was returned exactly 30 days after the rental. We did use their taxi service and it was great, worth the cost for 3 people you do not want to slep bags on trains and trams. We did voice our concerns about the bad rep they had and were informed that they were a reformed company and trying to correct past mistakes. If you want "service and pampering" go to a hotel, but if you would like lots of space and to "live" in Amsterdam for a week rent an apartment

Renting an apartment through Canal Apartments was the best decision we made about our trip to Amsterdam. Michelle made the rental process very simple and the Nostalgic apartment was wonderful. It has all of the comforts of home plus more - a beautiful balcony, full kitchen, large bathroom and plenty of space. On the same street as the apartment there is a bakery, wine shop, cheese shop, butcher, pub, coffeeshop and plenty of clothing and antique shops. We couldn't have been happier with what we got!

We rented the Rembrandt apt last May and it was wonderful. The apartment was clean, spacious and located perfectly. The taxi service was on-time and the drivers were friendly. This will not be the last time I rent through Canal Apartments.

We stayed in the lovely Van Gogh for a week and enjoyed every minute of it! This was our first trip to Amsterdam and staying in the flat made it so comfortable. We felt like we were able to enjoy the city from a native's point of view sitting in our window in the evenings gazing out onto the beautiful Gentlemen's canal. It was very hard to leave, but we came home with wonderful memories and hope to be back one day soon.

Hey Duke! Well we've had our 2nd stay at the Rembrandt. Just arrived home last Wed. The apartment was perfect! Stayed with 3 of my close friends and loved the apartment! Was picked up by George on time and also on time for our return to schipol. Always professional with us.

I'm returning in 2009 with our two kids and we will be booking the Rembrandt for a 3rd time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Van Gogh apartment. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything you would need to hace a great stay, and the location could not be better. The city is one of the best vacation locations anyone could want to visit.

We stayed at the Van Gogh in March and had an extraordinary time. The view was excellent and everything was within walking distance. This stay will live in our memories for many years to come.

We also appreciated the airport pick up and delivery service it made things a lot easier.
